The women's ministry of the church also provide a wonderful concession stand during several of the busier sale times so come hungry and ready to shop!

As in the past, we will be extremely careful at check-in to only accept clothing that is in great condition or that we feel will most likely sell. We would like to ask you to please keep your prices fair, pricing items between garage sale and consignment sale prices. We reserve the right to decline clothing based on pricing. Our policy is that all items must be in excellent condition with no stains, no holes, no broken zippers, etc. Please do not bring items with formula stains, excessively worn or faded clothing or clothing that smells smoky or musty. Please take time to iron clothing that is extremely wrinkled. The only car seats that we will accept are the ones that are attached to strollers as a set.

Please follow the instructions under Tagging Instructions for tagging your items. Sorting and adding tags is very difficult if the tags are not done properly.

  • USE ½ OF AN INDEX CARD ONLY FOR TAGS.

  • NO EXCEPTIONS!

We will NOT accept items that have tags made from masking tape, Post-It Notes, thin copier paper, etc. Please also mark your prices in 50 cent increments. It is so helpful when we are adding.

  • VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE REMEMBER TO PICK UP YOUR UNSOLD ITEMS ON SUNDAY FROM 1:00 - 3:00. THE CHARITY WILL BE THERE PROMPTLY AT 3:00 SUNDAY NIGHT TO PICK UP AND EVERYTHING WILL BE OUT OF ORDER FROM THAT POINT ON SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO COLLECT ALL OF YOUR UNSOLD ITEMS BEFORE THEN.

  • Thank you so much for selling with us! We are grateful for the years that the Lord has given each of us the All Kids Stuff Sale!

Tagging Instructions

TAGGING: PLEASE TAG ITEMS PROPERLY ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS!
NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please review the photographs below to make sure your items are tagged properly!

Use ½ of an index card. DO NOT USE COPIER PAPER, STICKY NOTES, MASKING TAPE, ETC. TO MAKE YOUR TAGS.  IT MUST BE NOTECARDS / CARDSTOCK PAPER.  Pin with a straight pin to the RIGHT SIDE of the garment with the hanger hook facing LEFT. Hangers cannot be returned. A brief description of the item on the front of the tag is helpful, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items or tags and this helps us match up lost tags.

Tag all books, toys, etc. with ½ of an index card. Attach tag with tape. Whole cards may be used on larger equipment. Toys must work properly; all games taped shut, wood puzzles securely wrapped. Please use only one color of ink on your tags; no mark outs or changes. Please do not bring toys, games or electronics that DO NOT WORK! It is unfair to the purchaser who trusts that everything is in working order. Do not bring DVD Videos and Video game CD's that are scratched and not in working order.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen video games and video DVD's.

NUMERIC clothing size is required on all tags. In other words, only descriptions like 24m, 3T or Size 10...no S, M, L descriptions. Have clothing divided by sex and size when delivered to expedite hanging.  The only exception is on TEEN clothing, where we will take S, M and L.

PLEASE PRICE ITEMS IN 50 CENT INCREMENTS AND DO NOT USE THE DOLLAR SIGN ON YOUR TAGS AS IT OFTEN CAUSES CONFUSION WHEN DETERMINING THE PRICE.

  • Your tag should look like this:
1. Upper Left Hand Corner - star or asterisk if you want the item sold for half price on Saturday.  PLEASE CLIP THE CORNER IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE ITEM SOLD FOR HALF PRICE.

2. Upper right hand corner - Your seller number (this seller is # 413)

3. Middle of tag - Size and description

4. Lower Right Hand Corner - Price (only use 50 cent increments and no dollar sign please)

  • Safety Pin Pants or Shorts to the Top of the Hanger with SAFETY PINS ONLY! No straight pins!

  • PIN THE TAG WITH A STRAIGHT PIN TO THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE GARMENT IF YOU ARE FACING THE GARMENT. HANGER HOOK GOES TO THE LEFT!  If your clothes are not hung properly, we apologize in advance but we will have to ask you to fix them when you check in at the sale.

IF YOU DO NOT CLIP THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER TO DESIGNATE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT THE ITEM TO SELL FOR HALF PRICE, WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMEONE (SADLY) MARKING YOUR TAG WITH A STAR.

THE MARCH SALE IS THE SPRING SUMMER SALE
PLEASE DO NOT BRING:

HEAVY SWEATERS, VELVET, CORDOUROY, HEAVY WINTER COATS, CHRISTMAS OUTFITS OR ITEMS THAT ARE OBVIOUSLY WINTER WEAR.

THE JULY SALE IS THE FALL AND WINTER SALE
PLEASE DO NOT BRING:

SHORTS IN ANY SIZE, TANK TOPS, SUMMER ROMPERS, SUNDRESSES,  EASTER CLOTHING OR ITEMS THAT ARE OBVIOUSLY SUMMER WEAR.  WE HAVE LESS ROOM ON THE RACKS FOR THE FALL AND WINTER SALE BECAUSE THE CLOTHING IS THICKER SO WE HAVE TO BE STRICT WITH THE ITEMS THAT WE TAKE DUE TO LIMITED SPACE!

Thank you so much!  We appreciate all you do to make this sale great!

Thank you so much for being a part of the Kids Sale and for all the great times we have had making this sale happen for the community and families.

It is hard to believe that when we began this sale, we only had five helpers! We now have about 80 helpers and it seems to keep growing. Since we have so many new helpers, we also wanted to take a minute to review some helper information so we can all be on the same page as we work together.

The most important thing is that we strive to have a work environment that is positive, caring and considerate of everyone. If you ever have any frustrations or concerns, we ask that you please bring those directly to us to avoid any hurt feelings. We want everyone who works at the sale to feel safe and welcomed and the most important thing to us is that our sale always brings glory to God in every way.

As a helper, you will work three full shifts during the sale. You can combine half shifts to make one full shift. The shifts available are listed above. Please e-mail us your shift choices as soon as possible to get your first choice of shifts since certain times fill up quickly.

One Last Thing:

Sometimes we are short on helpers and will ask if anyone is interested in picking up extra shifts. We offer a $20.00 credit for each shift you work over the required three if it is a shift that we have specifically asked you to fill. These shifts are completely optional. We want to say thanks for the times that you have volunteered to stay and help with various things. We are always so appreciative of the extra help and all the work it takes to make this sale work and never want you to feel required to do this. You are never obligated to work more than your three shifts and are always free to leave when your shift is over.

Thank you so much for your time and hard work!

TEEN CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS!

In the past, we have had a few racks of teen clothing and they seem to sell pretty well. We constantly have requests for more teen clothing and clothing in line with current fashion for teens. We have decided to give it a try and therefore, we will have a section marked for teen girls and guys at the Kids Stuff Sale.

However, due to VERY limited space, we must be very selective in what we are able to take. Otherwise we could fill up the entire gymnasium with adult clothing that sellers are identifying as teen clothing. We will not take adult clothing that is a style only an adult would wear. It must be geared for a teenager.

In order to help us set boundries on what we can and cannot take as teen clothing, we needed to have a strict guideline of what we could take for the teen section; otherwise we would simply be having an adult clothing sale, which we do not have the space to do.

After consideration of what clothes have sold the best at our children’s sales over the past 18 years, along with getting feedback from Plato’s Closet (a consignment store geared toward teens) we have determined that these are some of the most popular selling clothing lines for teens.

While we will consider other labels as long as they are VERY CLEARLY Junior / Teen clothing, these are the top clothing lines that teenagers seem to be looking for at our sale and these labels are the majority of what we take at check-in:

American Eagle
Abercrombie
Abercrombie and Fitch
Hollister
Ralph Lauren / Polo
Gap
Old Navy
Banana Republic
Aeropostle
Juicy Couture
Levi

Forever 21
Nike /
Reebok / Adidas / And One
Pac Sun
Arizona
S. O. (and other Kohls teen clothing lines)
Due to the limited space we have and because of the extra work managing larger size clothing, the majority (but not all) of the teen clothing we will take must fall under the above categories.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not bring women and men’s style clothing to this sale. We do not have the space or manpower to handle that many clothing items. Only bring clothing that your teen (or what a teenager) would wear. Do NOT bring items that are outdated and out of current fashion. Again, the teen clothing must be labeled according to the categories listed above. Do not bring items with stains, especially in the armpit area. This has been a problem in the past with teen clothing. The same standards apply as the children’s clothing: no holes, missing buttons, broken zippers or faded, smoky, bleached out clothing.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ITEMS THAT APPEAR TO BE MORE ADULT THAN TEEN CLOTHING. AGAIN, BECAUSE WE MANAGE THE TEAR DOWN OF THE OLDER KIDS CLOTHING, WE SEE WHAT IS LEFT HANGING ON THE RACKS AND SEE WHAT SELLS THE BEST AND IS MOST REQUESTED FROM BUYERS.

DO NOT BRING ADULT CLOTHING THAT WILL ONLY BE GIVEN BACK TO YOU. AGAIN, WE MUST BE VERY SELECTIVE DUE TO THE LIMITED SPACE WE HAVE AND BECAUSE OF ALL THE WORK INVOLVED IN HANDLING LARGER CLOTHING. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION OF THE CRITERIA WE MUST FOLLOW FOR TEEN CLOTHING.

IF THERE ARE TOO MANY CONFLICTS WITH ACCEPTING TEEN CLOTHING, WE WILL RETURN TO OUR POLICY OF ONLY ACCEPTING CLOTHING FROM INFANT TO SIZE 16/18 (KIDS) AND ELIMINATE TEEN CLOTHING ALL TOGETHER.

IT IS TRULY OUR HEART TO BE A BLESSING TO EVERYONE CONCERNED.

THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AS WE STIVE TO GROW THE SALE EACH YEAR IN ORDER TO BETTER SERVE YOU!
